I'm a policy wonk by trade, with a particular interest in energy, the environment, and social justice. Currently, I write on energy and climate issues for Garten Rothkopf. Disclaimer: The views expressed on my blog do not necessarily represent those of my employer.
I received a M.P.P. degree from the University of Maryland in 2008, and a B.A. from St. John's College in 2003. Prior to my current job, I was a research analyst for the Energy Programs Consortium.
In a previous life, I ran Free State Politics, a blog on Maryland politics. You can read my old posts at that site here.
Things I like, in no particular order: Economic history, soccer, social democracy, Indian cuisine, American poetry, Canadian indie rock, and continuing to teach myself new things. "I am still learning," as Michelangelo said.
